What's it all about?

Top Cat Productions is a vibrant family and children’s theatre company, proudly creating high-quality live performances since 2014. With a passion for storytelling, imagination, and audience engagement, we bring theatre to life for children and families of all ages.


Our productions have been performed across a wide range of venues, including heritage sites, theatres, schools, libraries, festivals, and community spaces. Wherever we perform, our aim is the same: to create memorable, inclusive, and joyful theatrical experiences that inspire young audiences and their families.


We are proud to be the resident pantomime company for CryerArts, Carshalton, delivering full-scale, fun-filled pantomimes packed with laughter, music, and magical moments year after year.


Top Cat Productions creates a diverse programme of shows, from educational theatre designed to support learning, to nursery rhyme adventures for our youngest audiences, and large-scale family pantomimes enjoyed by all generations. Every production is crafted with care, creativity, and a deep understanding of what makes children’s theatre truly special.


At Top Cat Productions, we believe theatre should be accessible, engaging, and above all, fun. We are proud to share that belief, and the magic of live performance, with audiences wherever we go.


 
Top Cat Productions is Run by Tom Franck and Suzie Ashworth.

Tom Trained at Arts Educational school London and graduated in 2009 with an MA in Acting.
Tom has had a varied acting career performing in a wide range of roles in Theatre tours and London Theatre venues. He has a lot of experience in family entertainment and children's theatre, working with some of the biggest companies in the business.
In 2014 he produced his first show for Children - Cinderella at 'The Brook' Live performance space. Since then Tom has continued to produce his unique shows for children, entertaining audiences in a variety of venues.
Tom was very proud to have been on the committee for a number of years  for  Arts Network Sutton a Charity dedicated to promoting and nurturing Arts In the Sutton area.
Suzie trained at London Studio Centre and has a varied career in the performing arts. Suzie has a wide range of experience in Professional Dance, Singing and Acting, and as well as performing in many of Top Cat shows she is also our dance and movement choreographer and event organiser.
